Car is titled as a 2010, but MSO date is January 14, 1981. I started the project in 1981. Had car running and moth-balled it because children were getting older and did not finish it. My Grandson convinced me to finish the car this Spring. He has since did a lot of the work getting it finished. This is still a work in progress and have been showibg it, but hope to get it completely show ready by Spring 2011.
It is a kit car replica of a 1969 Porsche that won the Lemans in 1970 & 1971. It currently has a Sebring Red Gel Coat. Built mostly on a Super Beetle Frame and Front End.
Specs
Porsche 1600 Engine (same as Volkswagen and Volvo), 4 Speed Transmission.
