Porsche 917K News Letter Over the past few months I have received many great ideas that I'd like to share with you. Barry Bristol from Fair Oaks, CA has sent in some great changes he made on his car. For instance: Headlights: Harley motorcycle, custom chrome part # 12504, $24 each Turn Signals: BMW motorcycle, $15 each Side Lights: Pontiac Firebird, $2.00 each (used) Tail Lights: Suzuki Samuri, $40 each (new) He is installing a 350 Chevy motor in a Fiero chassis for underneath, which will make the car run. I'd like to see him in Charlette next year. Thanks Barry and Best of Luck -- Make sure we see the end result!! So far the best improved kit car, I have seen, has to be by: LOUIS STALBERG from Florida. He has re-fiberglassed most of the car and what a miraculous change.
