Built in 1980, this kit car was purchased from Elite Enterprises. It rides on a 1969 Volkswagen Chassis with stock drivetrain. It was ordered with the tires/wheels package from Elite, and still has the bias ply white letter tires. 4 cyl VW engine-very good on gas 4 speed transmission 12V electrical system Full gauges (yellow numbers) Upgrades from the standard are as follows: ? Front Disc Brakes ? Deluxe Interior ? Racing lap belt (see picture) ? Quick-tach racing steering wheel (for easier entry/exit ? upgraded seating length (for taller folks) ? Exhaust performance header with quad exits Paint is in great shape, with no visible damage or cracks. Interior carpet is real nice, as well as the rest of the interior. Driver's seat has some black tape on 1 corner. Car gets great looks and lots of photos wherever it goes! Why get the real Porsche and pay $1,000,000.00 and then try to insure it and worry about it. Current owner is in his 50's and pays about $100.00 per year! It is a blast to drive at under 1800 lbs! Has never been driven in snow, and floor pans and chassis has no rot or issues. Car starts and runs nice, and does not smoke. Mileage since built in 1980 is 924 miles. Miles on the chassis Page 2 of 3 before build is unknown. Previous owner had the car built very well. Vehicle has a Clear New York State title, and is titled as a 1980 Custom. Included is the hard binder build manual and all paperwork from car.
