Vehicle Description Here it is a Laser 917 kit car the seriel number of the car is 015 of about 1000 that were made. It is the A model which was the first out of 4 models built I have been working on this car for 4and half years redoing it pro's it has a 2.0 Ford pinto motor bored .030 over forged flattop pistons stage 2 racer walsh cam and follows 2 new Holley 1 bbl carbs crank was turned .010/.010 new rings,a new esslinger pinto/vw adapter plate(pinto beans) 200mm vw flywheel 1700 lbs pressure plate and HD clutch disc. the trans is a 3 rib out of a vw bus 1971, it has new special cv joints that are type1 on one end and type2 joint on the other .Brand new 4 wheel disc brakes set up,Front beams are in super shape new floor pans that were welded in, all new painless wiring harnness ,all new brake lines,shifter, pedals,master cylinder, (pinto)radiator is in the rear of car, new one wire GM alt. battery tray,fuel pump, IRS arms were rebuilt by me all new seals and bearing and a whole bunch of new little stuff I'm sure I' ve forgot, these kits sell for around $8500 for the new one's and you still need a rolling chassis this car is alot of fun and you will get noticed I'm selling the car do to some family matters trust me i dont what to sell it but i need too Con's it still needs to be finished car will need to be trailered to it's new home unless you live within 30 and it maybe have enough fuel to get it there, i have drivin the car using a small red gas tank and she is fast and quick and to make sure everything is in working order. but it needs a new fuel cell made and installed the old gas tank was rusty and i cut it out.
